OFFICIAL RULES, ENTRY AND PURSE FOR ROLL OVER CONTEST

Competition will be open to any mid-size, compact, or sub-compact car, including station wagons *.

Each entry will take three (2) attempts at rolling the car. Points will be awarded to each roll and the entry with the most points at the end will win.

CARS MUST:

1. Strip all glass, trim, & chrome. The interior must be stripped of everything but the front seat. This includes door panels, headliner & stays, rear seat, sun visors etc.

2. Move the battery to the rear seat area and encase it in rubber and a box securely fastened to the floor.

3. Cut a small hole in the exhaust pipe at the front tire.

4. Chain doors, hood and trunk.

5. If the vehicle’s main roof is determined by the officials to be crushed or weak, entry will NOT be able to continue competition.

6. Leave passenger side seat belt in place. Fasten it together and use it to hold yourself down during a roll.

· Small cars roll the best.

DRIVERS:

1. Must wear a Snell approved helmet. Full face recommended. If open face, they MUST wear goggles. NO glasses allowed.

2. Must wear long sleeve shirt, long pants, shoes and gloves. No nylon jackets.

3. ALL ENTRIES must sign an insurance waiver of risk and liability.

MOTORSPORTS COMPETITION IS VERY DANGEROUS; MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE RULES OF THE COMPETITION PRIOR TO ENTERING.

SCORING:

Roll over attempts must be made in succession.

POINTS:

One (1/4) point for each side, roof and other side. One (1) point for complete roll. Points will be accumulated throughout the two attempts.

You may get a push to the starting area, but car must run under it’s own power to attempt roll.

ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION RELEASE- Evergreen Speedway, it’s duly authorized agents and assigns, may use the driver(s) name(s), likeness (es), and photographs advertising, recording or reporting any Evergreen Speedway EVENT (S) before, during and after such EVENT (S), including, but not limited to, sales and other commercial projects, television and audio broadcasts, film production, videotape reproductions and the like, and do hereby relinquish all rights thereto for these purposes.

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to compete, officiate, observe, work for, or participate in any way in the EVENTS (S) or being permitted to enter for any purpose any RESTRICTED AREA (defined as any area requiring special authorization, credentials, or permission to enter or any area to which admission by the general public or prohibited), EACH OF THE UNDERSIGNED, for himself, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin:

1.Acknowledges, agrees, and represents that he have or will immediately upon entering any of such RESTRICTED AREAS, and will continuously thereafter, inspect the RESTRICTED AREAS which he enters, and he further agrees and warrants that if at any time, he is in or about RESTRICTED AREAS and he feels anything to by unsafe, he will immediately advise the officials of such and if necessary will leave the RESTRICTED AREAS and/or refuse to participate further in the EVENTS (S).

2. HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the promoters, participants, racing associations, sanctioning organizations or any subdivision thereof, track owners, officials, car owners, drivers, pit crews, rescue personnel, any persons in any RESTRICTED AREA, promoters, sponsors, advertisers, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the EVENT (S), premises and event inspectors, surveyors, underwriters, consultants and others who give recommendations, directions, or instructions or engage in risk evaluation or loss control activities regarding the premises or EVENTS(S) and each of them, their directors, officers, agents and employees, all for the purposes herein referred to as “Releases”, FROM ALL LIABILITY TO THE UNDERSIGNED, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin FOR ANY AND ALL LOSS OR DAMAGE, AND ANY CLAIM OR DEMANDS THEREFOR ON ACCOUNT OF INJURY TO THE PERSON OR PROPERTY OR RESULTING IN DEATH OF THE UNDERSIGNED ARISING OUR OF OR RELATED TO THE EVENT(S), WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.

3.HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releases and each of them FROM ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR COST they may incur arising out of or related to the EVENTS (S) WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE.

4.HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE arising out of or related to the EVENTS (S) whether caused by the NEGLIGENCE OF RELEAEES or otherwise.

5.HEREBY acknowledge that THE ACTIVITIES OF THE EVENT (S) ARE VERY DANGEROUS and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage. Each of THE UNDERSIGNED, also expressly acknowledge that INJURIES RECEIVED MAY BE COMPOUNDED OR INCREASED BY NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS OR PROCEDURES OF THE RELEASE.

6. HEREBY agrees that this Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement extends to all acts of negligence by the Releases, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the Province or State in which the Event(s) is/are conducted and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITH OUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME AND INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEAE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
