The 2013 edition of the Evergreen Speedway Coors Light Summer Showdown presented by NAPA Auto Parts is drawing near and the list of Super Late Model Drivers entered grows daily. The $80,000.00 purse is bringing the best from the Western United States and Canada. With $12,000.00 to win, the 200 lap Summer Showdown makes it the biggest Super Late Model race on the West Coast. The list of drivers entered is laden with  former and present champions for the June 27, 28 & 29 extravaganza. Add in the Canadian stars that have entered and it has become an international affair. The star studded field will be over 40 strong competing for one of the 33-car starting positions on the Northwest’s biggest track the BIG 5/8-mile paved oval. The full three days of activity has a total purse of $100,000.00.

There are three former NASCAR Northwest Tour Champions entered. They are  Ron Eaton (Tacoma, WA), Gary Lewis(Snohomish, WA) and Pete Harding(Surrey, B. C., Canada). Harding won the first Summer Showdown at Evergreen Speedway. Lewis has also won ASA and ARCA championships.

There is an international flavor that the biggest Super Late Model race in the history of Evergreen Speedway and the Northwest has taken with entries from drivers representing two provinces of Canada.
