This Saturday and Sunday May 25 & 26, Evergreen Speedway host its annual two day extravaganza. The weekend starts on Saturday May 25 with one of the biggest Super Late Model events of the season with the Mark Galloway 150 Shootout presented by Central Welding Supply. The $6000 to win 150-laps on the BIG 5/8-mile oval has drawn a serious contention of Northwest drivers with over 30 pre-registered. Plus the Les Schwab Tires NASCAR Street Stocks, Interstate Batteries Hornets and traveling NW Vintage Modifieds will be on the 3/8-mile oval. Day two of the weekend is Sunday May 26 and the first annual Sean Peters Memorial featuring the Emerald City Harley-Davidson Super/Stock Figure Eights, Buzz Inn Steakhouse Stinger 8’s, V-8 Extremes, Truck Demolition Derby and all capped off with another famous Evergreen Speedway Fireworks Display. Saturday’s events get started at 5pm to accommodate all the action and Sunday’s start time is 6pm.

The biggest names in NW Super Late Model Racing are set for the 150-lap big money race on the BIG Track. The Mark Galloway 150 Shootout on Saturday May 25, is one of the three big races this season at Evergreen for Super Late Model cars. Many of these drivers are using this race as a tune up for the Summer Showdown on June 27-29. Tuning up is one thing, but with a chance at winning 6-grand is another. This is a race to not miss.

Sunday May 26 is a big day for all figure eight racers as they have the opportunity to pay tribute to one of their own Sean Peters. Young Sean lost his life during the off season in a tragic traffic accident. Sean who raced in both the Super Figure Eight and Stinger 8 Divisions. Sean is the son of many time figure eight champion Steve Peters. In addition the event is one week prior to the all new big money race the 88-Minutes of FEAR for the Super Figure Eights. Many drivers will be on hand for this very special night. Throw in the Derby for Trucks and Fireworks and this becomes another not miss event.

Again start times are 5pm on Saturday May 25 and 6pm on Sunday May 26. For tickets, RV spots and or more information go to or call 360-805-6117.
